Carlsbad Seapointe Resort, Carlsbad

I had a delightful stay at this hotel! The rooms were gorgeous, well-maintained, and offered amazing ocean views from almost every angle. The staff was super friendly and helpful. However, the hide-a-bed was a bit uncomfortable for my friends. The full kitchen was a real bonus as it saved us from eating out every meal.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had an odd arrangement of shelving and seemed a bit worn down, but they were spacious, pleasantly decorated, and had a well-equipped kitchen area, providing overall comfort. The large bathroom with a tub was a nice touch, offering a separate space. The service was stellar, going out of their way to assist with our needs and even providing beach essentials for our kids. However, there was a slight letdown in terms of helpfulness. The location, right by the beach and with easy access to the freeway and COASTER station, exceeded my expectations. The only downside was occasional train noise. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially with the helpful briefings from the host during breakfast, which consisted of sandwiches, fruit, and smoothies.

The dining experience was enjoyable, especially the breakfast briefing, but the absence of a full breakfast menu was a slight letdown.
